In Minneapolis the Clerical Workers at the University of Minnesota organized in AFSCME 3800 have taken a strong anti-war position and have endorsed the city-wide student walkout that members of Socialist Alternative (CWI’s affiliate in teh US) are organising.

While they are not planning to walk out themselves, the union is urging the membership to take a simultaneous lunch-break at 12 pm to join the city-wide student rally taking place on Day X on campus.
