Fifth CWI member elected as councillor in Germany
In Yesterday’s council elections in Celle, a town with 100.000 inhabitants in Lower Saxony an SAV member got elected. Andreas Hauptmeyer stood on a joint list of WASG, LeftParty.PDS and independents. Our comrade received 4.4% of the votes, enough to enter the city chamber while on a district level the joint list "Coalition for Social Justice polled 1.1% of the vote.
