The wave of school student protests across France has highlighted the deep crisis facing public education and the wider social conditions confronting working‑class youth. In dozens of towns and cities, students have walked out, blockaded their lycées, and joined demonstrations to denounce overcrowded classrooms, crumbling buildings, chronic teacher shortages, and the brutal police repression used against young people in working‑class districts. These protests are a powerful expression of anger against years of austerity and the widening inequalities produced by capitalism.

LET’S BUILD A MASSIVE PUBLIC-PRIVATE STRIKE AGAINST MACRON AND THE CAPITALISTS!
Energy and food prices, already far too high, are exploding again. The big energy and retail groups are lining their pockets by making record profits on our backs. €2.50 per litre at the pump. Everything is going up!
And what does Macron announce after his “crisis meeting”? Nothing. A new middle finger to the millions of workers, young people, pensioners and unemployed who are struggling.
Capitalists are laying off workers in droves: more than 300,000 by 2025. Tens of thousands of workers are unemployed. Not to mention the very precarious jobs that continue to grow – including in public services.
THEY INTEND TO MAKE US PAY FOR THEIR CRISIS
After an unprecedented 2026 austerity budget, the destruction of public services continues at full speed. Entire sectors such as hospitals and education are on the verge of collapse. The government added a ladle this summer with 3 billion from the Social Security and the State and 2 billion from local authorities.
This summer was also marked by heat waves (7000 deaths) and fires. Once again, Macron and his government have shown that they have no desire to protect the population (apart from their rich friends in Cap Ferret).
Their only desire is to maintain the 211 billion euros per year for CAC 40 companies in the form of aid and many other tax gifts to the super-rich. The Total group – which pays no cent in tax in France – made 11.2 billion euros in profits in the first 6 months of 2026 alone, at the expense of workers thanks to the rise in fuel prices.
Mind-blowing wealth is accumulating for a handful of big capitalists and for us, workers and youth, living and working conditions are deteriorating at a rapid pace.
FOR 3 CONSECUTIVE DAYS OF STRIKE BY ALL SECTORS AGAINST THESE CAPITALIST POLICIES!
After the September 29 strike, the potential exists to build a massive strike, public and private, uniting workers and youth who want to fight against this capitalist policy.
In our unions and workplaces, let’s discuss now the construction of such a strike in October – based on combative demands unifying all workers – and the prospect of following up with a strike of three consecutive days in all sectors. This can allow the strikers to better structure, organize and expand their strikes and thus build a determined mass struggle to free up all attacks, while weakening the camp of Macron and the capitalists!
Salary increase: + €300 immediately, no income below €1800
Indexation of wages to inflation
Zero layoffs, decent work for all
Massive investments for all public services with massive hiring
nationalisation under the control of workers in key sectors of the economy (energy, mass distribution, finance, transport,…)
JOIN THE REVOLUTIONARY LEFT
Such a struggle against Macron will also strengthen the voice of the workers in the political situation!
The militants of the Revolutionary Left are fighting in their workplaces or in their studies, in their unions for this perspective. We are fighting for a society free of exploitation, misery and environmental destruction: a socialist society managed democratically and collectively by the workers themselves. With one and only objective: to satisfy the needs and guarantee a decent life for all! Join us!

AGAINST MACRON AND THE CAPITALISTS, LET’S BUILD A MASSIVE STRUGGLE, YOUNG PEOPLE AND WORKERS ALL TOGETHER!
On September 15, we were thousands of students in the streets to protest against the attacks on the APL. This first energetic and combative mobilization also brought us together to protest against worsening study conditions. Today, mobilized with the workers, it is against a whole policy against which we are fighting!
LET’S SUPPORT THE STRIKES
While the €1 CROUS meal for all students has finally been adopted, the lack of means is such that the queue to access it can last several hours, preventing some students from being entitled to it! In addition, the Minister of Higher Education has said that this measure could be abolished if the 2027 budget is not adopted. It is a real blackmail that he is blackmailing us to force us to accept the billions of budget cuts planned against public services! The CROUS staff are going on strike against their working conditions, let’s support them! Like everywhere else, if the workload increases without additional staff or salary, it is pure and simple theft of the workers.
73 BILLION IN PROFITS IN 6 MONTHS!
That sums up Macron’s entire policy! The government is still asking us to make concessions on our living and working conditions; especially on the pretext of the debt. And the RN is 100% in agreement, adding an additional layer of racism. Supposedly everyone “must make an effort” but in the meantime, the capitalists’ profits are only increasing. As proof, the CAC 40 made no less than 73 billion in profits in the first half of this year alone! All this is happening because of this policy of massive theft of workers and public services.
FOR A MASSIVE STRIKE BY WORKERS, HIGH SCHOOL AND UNIVERSITY STUDENTS AGAINST THESE CAPITALIST POLICIES!
Struggles are multiplying among the workers. Tuesday, September 29 is a great day of strike. Students, alongside the workers, let’s organize ourselves so that this struggle continues even after the day of September 29, for our rights and against capitalism that continues to impoverish us!
For our conditions of study, work and our future, it is this whole capitalist policy that we must fight. This system is a real dictatorship of profit, based on the exploitation of the majority by a handful of individuals. We need a society where the economy will be managed collectively and democratically according to needs, and this society is socialism. To discuss and fight for it and participate in our campaigns, contact us!
HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS, ON SEPTEMBER 29 AND AFTER, LET’S STRIKE ALONGSIDE THE WORKERS! LET’S MOBILIZE FOR OUR FUTURE!
Since last week, high school students from Créteuil and the suburbs have been mobilized against the lack of budget for the school, the lack of teachers and staff, and because it is their entire future that is compromised in these rotten study conditions! They are organizing blockades and discussions on their demands, we must support this struggle, and extend it to our own high schools. Because in reality, we are all living these realities, and we are fed up!
Why do we live in poor living conditions?
Today capitalism, the society in which we live, is in crisis. The big bosses are trying to maintain a maximum of profits by closing companies or increasing prices. That’s why our parents are struggling so much with the price of gas or groceries. The strike day of September 29 is the beginning of the struggle against this and against Macron’s policies that are sinking us even deeper into misery. As high school students, we must also mobilize, with the workers, because it is the same policy that makes our high schools so broken! Macron and all those before in the service of the big bosses have purposely strengthened the selection, eliminated positions, set up Parcoursup, etc. The goal is to exclude some young people from the education system to send them as soon as possible to be exploited on the job market, and to be paid a pittance like the workers!
Let’s fight Macron and the capitalists together!
We want good study conditions, to choose with the teachers what we study, and to be able to do the studies and the job we want later. The current government will never give us that, because it’s not in its interest. If we want a future, the question of mobilizing and organizing is essential. If we want to be able to put pressure on and change our living conditions, young people and workers, we have to be as numerous as possible, and on strike, to make the capitalists and the government bend to their service.
It is in this sense that we are campaigning for the revolutionary Left, and with the objective of putting an end to capitalist society in order to establish socialism, a society that would meet the needs of all, where the majority of the population would control the economy and could therefore get out of this logic of profits. We would therefore also be rid of wars, discrimination, unemployment, pressure, etc.
