History: Marxists and the British Labour Party

A new section has been published in the “Marxist debates of the 1990’s” section of marxist.net , the cwi’s marxist resource website.

The open turn debate

This section publishes the main documents from both sides of the 1991/92 debate within the cwi over whether its members in Britain form an organisation openly outside the Labour Party.

While some of the specific issues discussed in this debate have become dated the general themes and method of debate are still valid today and can help activists today in analysing and drawing conclusions from new developments in the class struggle.
